Hatching
Hatching stage is the final 2 to 3 days of incubation.
Stop turning the eggs after day 48.
Temperature
The temperature in the Hatcher is normally 0.5°C lower than that of the incubator.
Humidity
Humidity in the hatcher needs to be high to ensure that the shell membranes do not dehydrate. Dry shell membranes can hamper the hatching of the chick. The humidity should be set between 40 and 50% RH.
Ventilation
The oxygen requirements of the same amount of eggs is tree times more in the hatcher than in the incubator.
